The McKinleyville Shopping Center invites you to join them for the start of their holiday events – the Christmas Celebration! The annual Christmas Celebration is a kick off to the holiday season in McKinleyville, and is a free, kid friendly event open to the community.
The Celebration will be Thursday, December 1st from 5-7 pm at the McKinleyville Shopping Center. The is always a good time, and includes Santa Claus coming to town on a fire truck, free activities for the kids, Christmas goodies & treats, sales, live Christmas music, the shops are open late and more. We are also proud to present Santa Claus lighting a giant Christmas tree on the front lawn, thanks to the McKinlevyille Chamber of Commerce!

5:00 - 7:00 pm: Free Christmas treats, Shops open late with special sales, balloon animals and crafts (free for the kids!), Book Sale by Friends of the Library featuring gift-quality books
5:00-5:30: Christmas Caroling
5:30 pm: Santa arrives on a fire truck
5:30 pm: Santa lights the tree
6:00-7:00 pm: Lorna Brown playing Christmas music on accordion
6:00-7:30 pm: Visit with Santa at the Stork’s Nest (free for the kids!)
