Mateel Comedy Cabaret

The final edition of the 2009 Mateel Comedy Cabaret series will take place at the Mateel in Redway this Friday, December 18th and will showcase professional comedians, Mark Yafee and Dave Bothun. 

      Headliner, Marc Yafee is a Native American comedian who weaves his multi-cultural roots into his rapid-fire comedy.  He writes for George Carlin’s Laugh.com, was a winner of the Gold Rush Comedy Competition, and enjoyed a stint on Galavision Network’s Que Locos! comedy show. 

      Dave Bothun is a laugh-out-loud funnyman and rising star from Vacaville, CA whose relaxed, informal style has made him a favorite at major west coast venues like The Punchline, Pepperbelly’s, and Harvey’s. 

      Doors open at 8:00pm with a performance by the Garberville Town Band and the comedy will begin at 8:30. DJ Funksidious Rex will also be on hand to spin some tunes after the comedy.
