Live Animal Event
What:
Bring the whole family and come meet live animals from the Humboldt Wildlife Care Center. These non-releasable teaching animals include a red-tailed hawk, a flying squirrel and a native species of owl. The event takes place at the HSU Natural History Museum on Saturday, June 13 from 1 to 2 p.m. During the open-house-style presentation, visitors can also explore the hands-on exhibits, aquariums, and fossil collections at the museum. Admission is free for members and HSU students with a current ID. The non-member cost for adults is $3, and $2 for seniors or children ages 3 and up. The Museum is located at 1315 G Street in Arcata.
