Former A-towner, Lila Nelson returns, this time with a new 3 song EP!  We Never Came was engineered and mixed by KHUM DJ Mike Dronkers and what better place than Arcata to celebrate its pre-Christmas release.

Lila has released 5 records to date, has toured the country extensively playing shows with some of her favorites:  Ben Folds, Richie Havens, Kenny Edwards, Peter Mulvey and many more, and recently relocated to the Bay Area where she continues to work in the world of song.  She spent three years at KHUM radio as the debut host of “Meet Me in the Morning.”

“…Lila Nelson has something truly rare: the ability to live passionately in the world while at the same time sharply observing it…She’s a poet.”  KOOP, Austin Texas

John Ludington was born in upstate NY and grew up in Liverpool, a suburb of Syracuse. His dad handed him his great grandfather’s guitar when he was 9, cranked his fingers into shape and said, “this is a G”. For two solid weeks, John played ‘Where Have All the Flowers Gone’, ‘Tom Dooley’ and ‘Lady Came From Baltimore’. He then started writing songs.

“Ludington’s outré acoustic ditties are catchy, drunken, stein-sloshing chanteys whose high art lies in the way they string together non sequiturs and invite the listener to sing right along.” – Peter Aaron roll Creative Living in the Hudson Valley

“Most distinctive is his signature fractured whimsical chord progressions and surprising sung sound effects.” – Jacques Laiberte Art-rag creative culture
