CenterArts presents Les Ballets Trockadero de Monte Carlo on Tuesday, February 23rd at 8 p.m. in the Van Duzer Theatre, HSU. Fabulous, funny and always outrageous, the Trocks dance the fine line between high art and high camp. An audience favorite around the world, these hilarious all-male “ballerinas” present loving parodies of classical ballet with impeccable comic timing and to-die-for technical skills. With hairy-chested men en pointe and in tights, tutus and plus-size toe shoes, the Trocks take the art form’s conventions to the limits of absurdity, combing excruciatingly funny slapstick with a genuine respect for classical ballet.
