Latino Film Festival
What:
College of the Redwoods Modern Languages Department and Humboldt State University Department of World Languages and Cultures present the 13th annual Latino Film Festival on March 1, 2, and 3 at the Minor Theatre in Arcata. This is a great opportunity to enjoy and learn from a three-day seminar/workshop. Three outstanding films from Ecuador will be featured this year.
The film content and mode of representation will be compared and discussed. There will be a half-hour speaker’s presentation in Spanish/English at 6:00 p.m., followed by a screening of each film. After the film screening there will be a panel discussion. A short opinion paper is required for academic credit. Non-credit participants may purchase tickets to films at the Minor Theatre box office for $6 per film.
