La Dolce Video’s 1st Anniversary Bash
What:
For their one-year anniversary, the movie geeks at La Dolce Video are bringing two hard-to-find cult gems to the big screen: 1991’s “Rubin & Ed,” starring Crispin Glover, and 2000’s “Beaver Trilogy,” starring Crispin Glover and Sean Penn. Both come from legendary underground filmmaker Trent Harris. There will also be live music from Bandemonium, a blindfolded guess-that-movie contest, prizes, hula-hoop dancers, and a special MC to deliver bad stand-up comedian one-liners. This event is hosted at the Arcata Theatre Lounge, which means there will also be beer, wine, and some of the best sweet potato fries in Humboldt available for purchase.
