KEET’s Kids Club

What:

In partnership with KEET-TV and the Ready-to-Learn initiative, the Humboldt Arts Council and the Morris Graves Museum of Art will offer FREE monthly workshops for children, families, and childcare providers every first Saturday of the month from NOON to 2pm.

These FREE monthly workshops will be led by Jackie Hamilton from KEET-TV. 

The workshops are geared to provide youth (2-8 years old) with critical reading and comprehension skills.  Based on the learning triangle, workshops will be comprised of viewing a segment of PBS Kid’s programming, reading several short stories, and doing art activities to incorporate the material. And each family will take home a FREE BOOK! 

April’s book is Deep in the Swamp.
