Junior Miss Orientation
What:
An orientation meeting for all Humboldt County High School Junior girls and their parents will be held on Saturday, February 12, at 11 a.m. at the Fortuna Union High School Healthy Start Building. Practices and preparation for the program will begin on Saturday, March 5. The mission of America’s Junior Miss (AJM) is to empower outstanding high school women by providing scholarship opportunities, developing life skills, and encouraging positive values.
The local Junior Miss program will be held on Saturday March 26, 2011, at the Winema Theater in Scotia.
The program is underwritten by Fortuna Kiwanis and sponsored by local businesses and individuals.
