Maude’s Delight: Premier showing, June 6th Eureka Arts Alive, at the 208 C Street Hall Gallery.
Local photographer Rick Gustafson will be showing a six piece collection of his series, “Maude’s Delight.” This collection is an evolution of his award winning series “A Walk in the Forest.” The photographer defines his work as “an intimate study of trees using impressionist in-camera photographic techniques.” These photographs, inspired by the movie “Harold and Maude”, are colorful abstractions of nature intended to evoke an interpretation from each viewer. The photographs to be shown are “Maude’s Delight,” “Stepping Out,” “The Chase,” “Father au Naturel,” “Eden Dreams,” and “Aged Beauty.” After Arts Alive these photographs may be viewed by arrangement with the photographer.
