Invasive Plant Removal
What:
On Saturday June 26th from 10am to 2pm members of the AmeriCorps Watershed Stewards Project host an invasive plant removal in the Humboldt Redwoods State Park at Williams Grove near Myers Flat, and they need your help! Join us to eradicate and stop the downstream spread of invasive plants such as Arundo, Vinca and English Ivy. Community volunteers are essential for herbicide free removal methods, and help show state and local governments that we love, appreciate and enjoy our State Parks. Come join the WSP members on Saturday, June 26 and engage with your community to eradicate invasive plants! This is a fun, family friendly opportunity with something to offer people of all abilities!
