Surfrider Humboldt is celebrating International Surfing Day! A day to give thanks and go surfing, ISD organizers aim to raise awareness of the state of our oceans, waves and beaches and help protect and preserve these recreation areas.

Tonight at the Arcata Theater Lounge is the Surfrider Fundraiser for Water Quality. Help support our efforts to establish a Surfrider Water Quality program! Enjoy the tunes of the Bad Lilas, Rooster McClintock, The Absynth Quintet, and Dragged By Horses! Doors of the Lounge will be open early, so get a drink and some food at the theatre while we hand out free goodies. Music starts at 9pm, and ends around 1am.
