Living Earth Landscapes invites the public to a free in-depth presentation on correct design and construction of garden ponds Sunday, August 22 from 12 to 1 p.m. at its nursery and water garden center located at 5307 Boyd Road (next to Three G’s Hay and Grain) in Arcata. Owner and licensed contractor Keith Hamm presents detailed tips and techniques for intermediate-level pond building. Topics will include design features, construction techniques, and troubleshooting for various types of ponds and waterfalls. Maintenance and fish care will also be covered.
