Humboldt Taxpayers
What:
The Humboldt Taxpayers League will meet at 1145 on Wednesday, July 14th at the Samoa Cookhouse. Guest speaker Eureka City Manager David Tyson with discussion on the ballot measures Eureka will be submitting to the voters in November. These measures include the amending the City of Eureka Local Coastal Program; and amending the Eureka Municipal Code to add a one half of one percent (0.50%) supplemental transaction and use tax to fund essential services. The public is invited to attend. Membership is encouraged but not required. The League is a Watchdog Organization to Advocate for and Inform the Taxpayers. The League’s Mission is to encourage responsible use of public resources.
