This year marks the 43nd anniversary of the Humboldt Sponsors rummage sale and primary fundraiser. Spread out over three buildings are great bargains on house wares, furniture, electronics, tools, books, clothing, jewelry, toys and sporting goods, including new items donated by local merchants.

Humboldt Sponsors is a non-profit charitable organization dedicated to raising funds solely to benefit the special needs of Humboldt County youth. Since 1973 the Humboldt Sponsors has awarded grants ofover one million dollars that have benefited thousands of Humboldt County children. This year Humboldt Sponsors awarded over $80,000 in grants in support of educational, recreational, and cultural enrichment opportunities and to assist youth-oriented programs that provide basic needs.

With an active membership of over 50 volunteers and a large group of Associate Members, Humboldt Sponsors is able to generate most of the funds needed for grant requests with the proceeds from their annual rummage sale.
