What:
Local physicians Asa Stockton, MD and Nathan Shishido, MD present stories and photos from their February medical relief trip to Port-au-Prince, Haiti. The presentation is open to the public, and will be held during Arts Arcata! on Friday, March 12th from 6 to 8 pm in the Plaza View Room of Jacoby’s Storehouse.
The local doctors will be joined by Candy Stockton, MD, Asa Stockton’s daughter and a physician from Redding, CA, who organized the trip. The presentation will show community supporters and donors what the medical team did during their trip, and how local donations were used. They will also be talking about their follow up program for Port-au-Prince, the construction of a prosthetic clinic.
The doctors will do slide show presentations at both 6:30 and 7:30 pm. They will be available to answer questions about the trip in between presentations.
