World AIDS Day…..and the 60th Anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Human Rights On December 1, at 5:30P - Arcata Plaza, Arcata Mayor Mark Wheetley will read the Declaration of Human Rights–following, we will have a candlelight walk around the plaza in remembrance of people living with and affected by HIV/AIDS.. around 6:00P we will proceed to the Jacoby Store House where participants will have hot cider and treats at the Arcata Mainstreet Office (treats courtesy of the Northcoast CoOp) In addition, participants will have the opportunity to view photo’s taken by Annie Lebowitz of folks living with HIV/AIDS…. –—this event is sponsored in part by: the Human Rights Commission, the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence, City of Arcata, Arcata Mainstreet, Bill Chino-owner of the Jacoby Store House, Arcata Photo Studio, and the NorthCoast CoOp.
