Huckleberry Flint (SOLD OUT)
What:
Chris Parreira Presents…Huckleberry Flint is a name known fondly around Humboldt County. What began as a traditional string band in 2003 has blossomed into a dynamic 6-piece group incorporating bluegrass, alt-country and rock. Huck Flint still stays true to the folk song convention of rearragning traditional ballads and spirituals in a new, original way; blending old-timey lyrics and melodies with electric instruments and five-part harmonies. The result is a full bodied sound that is truly their own.
The current Huckleberry Flint line up includes Dustin Taylor (guitar, vocals, harmonica), Adam Dick (mandolin, banjo, vocals), Kevin Porter (drums, vocals), Ray Robinson (upright bass), and most recently, husband and wife duo Brian (dobro, electric guitar) and Lauren Pilger (keyboard, vocals).
