Archaeologists from Humboldt State University will be working at the Historic site of Falk on Feb 12 and 13. The event is open and free for everyone.
Plan to meet at the Falk parking area (End of Elk River Road in Eureka) at 9:30 AM. If you need a ride, meet at the CRF office (BSS 124) by 8:30 AM. If you will need a ride please contact me ASAP so that we can plan to have enough cars available.
We will be walking through Elk River at the old mill site, a one mile walk from the parking area. Bring river shoes or waders, as the water is 12 in deep /chilly. Bring your lunch and water. Feel free to call my cell in the morning of the event to check in. See you there!
