HEROS is one of the oldest non-profits in Humboldt County. All proceeds directly benefit residents of Sonoma Developmental Center and various organizations in Humboldt County. Every year HEROS purchases hundreds of Christmas Gifts that are distributed to the residents of Sonoma Developmental Center. All the residents are lifetime residents with varying degrees of mental challenges. Because of the dire condition of the state budget, our help is needed even more to bring joy and Christmas to the nearly 600 residents of Sonoma Developmental Center.
