Humboldt Health Care for All—a nonprofit, grassroots organization promoting full-coverage, single-payer health care for every Californian, presents “Health. Money, and Fear,” a one-hour film about the American health care system by Dr. Paul Hochfeld, an emergency room physician from Oregon. It’s a thoughtful analysis of why medical care costs so much, what can be done about it, and how we can raise the quality and accessibility of health care in the U.S. See it at Founder’s Hall room 118 on the HSU campus on Friday September 10 at 7 pm. Discussion afterwards. This is a free event.
