What:
Celebrate spring and have a hopping good time as you learn about animals that flit, flutter and fly in the springtime sky. Hunt for eggs, play games, make crafts and more. This event will be an egg-cellent time, rain or shine!
Children will receive a Passport to Spring and collect stamps at each of the many craft and activity stations that feature games and explorations into the world of rabbits, bees, butterflies and more. At the end of the day, redeem your Passport for some great prizes!
The Egg hunt for ages 8 and under starts at noon and will run until 4 p.m. To ensure that everyone can participate in the fun, there will be a limit of 3 eggs per child. Children 9 and older will embark on an Egg-spedition and seek out animal clues hidden around the Zoo.
There’s also a self-guided chalk walk to explore Springtime at the Zoo, up close and personal encounters with some of our newer residents, and a newly egg-spanded animal enrichment schedule (subject to change): Plus, bring your cameras to have your photo taken with
the Easter Bunny!
All activities are included with general Zoo admission.
Members join the fun for free!
Bring the whole family to enjoy this wonderful springtime tradition… Hope to see you at the zoo!
Special thanks to our 2012 Event Sponsors for helping to make Egg-stravaganza possible.
