What:
On Sunday, June 14, the Humboldt Yacht Club is proug to host the annual Great Bay Race. Starting at noon, with the slowest handicapped boat starting first, the other boats each leave at a later time corresponding to their handicap. In a perfedct world, with all boats sailing to their rating, the boats would finish in a dead heat. Not to worry. While the Race Committee wrestles with the scoring, all skippers, crews and guests will be enjoying a BBQ in the HYC club room. An entry fee of $10 per boat covers racing and the skipper’s meal. For a $5 fee each, crew and guests are welcome to join us at the BBQ at 3:00 pm. The skipper’s meeting will be held at 11 am in the HYC club room at the Wharfinger Building, #1 Marina Way, Suite A, Eureka. Come join us for a fun Day on the Bay.
