The Kinetic Universe and the Rutabaga Royal Family are throwing a Glorious Gala to benefit the Kinetic Sculpture Museum in Ferndale! Saturday November 14th, doors and bar open at 7. Kinetic Kabaret Variety show starts at 8:00 including: Shaye Freelove, Ya Habibi Belly Dancers, jugglers, singers, comedians, plus eclectic acts by the Rutabaga Royal Family! Live auction of Vintage Kinetic Memorabilia, and a Dutch raffle.
All proceeds benefit the Kinetic Sculpture Museum, and our newest addition “Hobarts Room”-
Since the closing of Hobart Galleries we have been trying to find a way to preserve Hobartian Art, and it’s contribution to the unique culture of Humboldt County. “Hobart’s Room” will be a working replica of the workshop where Hobart created his brass and copper masterpieces. We hope to not only display his works, but preserve Hobartian Art by having this space for work and teaching.
