The Scotia Inn is exploring new ways to establish it as a viable venue for food and entertainment in the Eel River Valley as well as a fun weekend destination for Humboldt County residents and out of town guests. Jeanne Dorris, inn keeper and general manager, known for her friendly staff and delicious food, is venturing into new entertainment possibilities in this beautiful and well-loved Inn.
Along with offering live music in the Pub, the Scotia Inn is launching this Dancers Delight Series of Dining Room Dancing with live, local swing dance and country bands. Taking advantage of the large dance floor available in the wainscoted, redwood dining room, it is the Scotia Inn’s hope that their dining room dancing will become a monthly event offering a much-needed wholesome and fun entertainment option in the Eel River Valley.
