Friends of the Arcata Marsh (FOAM) is co-sponsoring a free “What’s Blooming at the Marsh?” tour of the Arcata Marsh & Wildlife Sanctuary on Saturday, June 11 from 2 to 4 p.m. Knowledgeable and lively docents Jenny Hanson and Rich Ridenhour will
lead a walk focused on trailside flowers. Learn about plant families, flower parts, native, non-native, and invasive species, and whatever else catches the eyes of the participants. Meet at the Interpretive Center on South G Street. Bring a hand lens or binoculars if you have them. This tour is co-sponsored by the North Coast Chapter of the California Native Plant Society.
