Join naturalist Pete Haggard for a look at the insects found in dune habitats. Look for butterflies, bees and wasps, and beetles, as well as, insect caused plant galls on willow and coyote brush. Participants are encouraged to bring insects for identification. Meet at Pacific Union School, 3001 Janes Road in Arcata to carpool to the Lanphere Dunes Unit of Humboldt Bay National Wildlife Refuge.
