Food for People will be holding its free farmers’ market-style produce distribution, the “People’s Produce Market”, from noon to 2 p.m. on Thursday, July 15th at the food bank, located at 307 W. 14th Street, in Eureka. Please note that this is being offered in addition to the monthly distribution of food boxes – no appointment is necessary, and anyone who meets the income requirements is eligible to receive fresh fruits and vegetables for their households. The market will also featuring free recipes and produce samples, cooking tips and food stamp assistance to individuals.
