Father’s Day Craft Event
What:
North Coast Parents is sponsoring a Father’s Day craft on Thursday, June 18 from 10:00 am to noon at the Adorni Center’s conference room. The Adorni Center is located at 1011 Waterfront Drive in Eureka. There is a $5 donation request to cover craft materials and help fund other NCP activities.
Parents and their babies, toddlers and preschool-aged children are invited to create a handmade craft that will be perfect to take home to dad for a Father’s Day present.
Sponsoring the outing is North Coast Parents (NCP), a local grassroots organization that was created 20 years ago to serve as a support group for parents of babies, toddlers and preschool-aged children. NCP offers activities, small play groups, field trips, and meetings in safe, nurturing environments that provide socialization for young children and their parents. Also offered is a babysitting co-op, parents’ night out events and meals to new parents. A monthly newsletter listing NCP activities and family-oriented community events is sent to members.
