The Eureka Dog Park Committee is hosting a huge rummage sale on Saturday and Sunday, May 22 and 23, at 2903 “N” Street in Eureka. The sale will start at 9 AM each day. We will have lots of great stuff to sell, so stop by and check us out! If you have items that you would like to donate to the sale, please contact Lonnie Songy at 707-441-1281.
The Dog Park Committee is a group of private citizens working to build an off-leash dog park within the City of Eureka. The city has already set aside the land (behind the old General Hospital campus), plans have been drawn up, a conditional use permit has been granted, and we have contractors on board to start the grading. Currently we are trying to raise funds for the fencing. This park is being built through the donation of money, materials, and labor from our community.
