Eureka Discovery Walk: Art and Murals Tour

What:

Discovery Walkers will meet at 9:30am on Saturday, in front of the Eureka Co-op at 4th and B streets for a tour highlighting the public art works and murals featured throughout Old Town and Down Town Eureka. We’ll see some new art, old art, trash art, and view some sites where art has been removed and murals painted or built over.

Please do not park in the Co-op customer parking spaces. Non-metered street parking is readily available nearby. This is an easy walk along city sidewalks, mostly level, with some crossing of busy intersections. The tour will take about 2 hours.

Dogs must be on leash. Wear comfortable shoes and be prepared for light rain. Heavy rain cancels.

A Discovery Walk within the City of Eureka is held on the fourth Saturday of each month. Discovery Walks introduce or highlight some special aspect or feature of Eureka, or have a special theme or subject focus. Discover walking as a fun and easy way to exercise. Contact Ruth Moon for more information, 707-443-4586, or send an email to info@eurekadiscoverywalks.org, or visit the Discovery Walks website via link or QR code for your smart phone.
