EPIC’s Annual Dinner and Dance

On Friday, November 5, 2010, the Environmental Protection Information Center will host their 33rd Annual Membership Meeting Dinner and Celebration at the Mateel Community Center in Redway.

Please join us to honor 2010 Sempervirens Award recipient, Richard Gienger, who has worked for more than three decades to restore the ecosystems of the North Coast.

EPIC’s board and staff will honor Richard, for his many achievements in building the culture and institutions of sustainable forestry and watershed protection.

After EPIC’s Annual Membership Meeting at 6, the extended EPIC family will enjoy an entertaining live auction and awards ceremony during dinner at 7 followed by a dynamic show by the Berel Alexander Ensemble at 9.

Local chef Nancy Miyamoto will create one of her celebrated Asian Fusion feasts for dinner. Local vintners and brewers will provide fine wines and microbrews throughout the evening. Kids are welcome.

Tickets to EPIC’s Annual Dinner and Celebration are available at the Works in Arcata and Eureka, Redway Liquors in Redway and at EPIC’s new office at 145 S. G Street, Suite A in Arcata.

Tickets cost $35 for dinner and music, or will be available for $15 starting at 9 for music only. Children are free. To volunteer, call 822-7711 or write epic@wildcalifornia.org.
