“Wandering Appetites” will not leave you hungry
The Juniors & Seniors of Northcoast Preparatory and Performing Arts Academy (NPA) will be performing this week at Abruzzi. The play, titled Wandering Appetites, will be a cabaret adaption of three separate plays; Gunter Grass’ The Wicked Cooks, The Sound of Music, and Fiddler on the Roof. It will be performed in Abruzzi from February 9-12. Seating will begin at 5:30 and the play will start at 7:00. Wandering Appetites will be approximately three hours long including one intermission.
There is no admission, but ordering from the menu is highly encouraged.
The performance’s form mimics its message of finding the shared ground in humanity by using only those elements common in all three plays. The cabaret style, wherein the show will be performed during dinner, highlights this message by uniting the audience over the table. What is more universal than sitting down with friends and family to enjoy and a meal?
