Mark Your Calendar North Coast Resource Center 11th Annual EMPTY BOWLS BENEFIT
Mark your calendar now for the 11th Annual Empty Bowls Benefit! This culinary event will be held on Saturday, October 23, 2010 at 6 pm at the St Mary’s School in Arcata.
The event will feature the Arcata Interfaith Gospel Choir, as well as other young local performing artists. A silent auction is planned, along with soups from local restaurants vying for the People’s Choice Award. In addition to the silent auction, a chocolate fountain, and live music will keep everyone.
All proceeds from the event benefit the North Coast Resource Center’s programs and services. The North Coast Resource Center is a not-for-profit organization, and event proceeds help support a variety of services including the food pantry, homeless services, job training, housing assistance, counseling and hot meals regardless of a person’s ability to pay.
Tickets are $10 each and are available from NCRC Board Members, at the North Coast Resource Center, 501 9th Street, Arcata. Reserve your ticket today, there is limited space at this popular event.
