Step-back in time and enjoy the classic silent film: Phantom of the Opera with live music.
Lon Chaney brings to the screen his famous role of a mysterious masked composer in this
masterpiece. Enjoy one of the first horror films, along with the original music score and chilling sound effects performed by the Arcata-McKinleyville High School Orchestra under the direction of conductor Carol Jacobson. Support the ARMACK Orchestra and their efforts to compete in the London Music Festival in the spring of 2011, by purchasing tickets from any orchestra student, or at the door for only $5.00. Screening at McKinleyville High School are: Thursday, October 7th and Friday, 8th at 7:00 p.m. plus 2 showings on Saturday, October 9th at 2:00 and 7:00PM.
