Charley’s Aunt Auditions
What:
The North Coast Repertory Theatre announces open auditions for the classic comedy “Charley’s Aunt” by Brandon Thomas, directed by Nathan Emmons. There are roles for 3 men aged 18 to 30, 3 men aged 35 to 60, three women aged 18 to 30, and one woman aged 35-50. A one-minute comic monologue or story joke is encouraged. There will also be cold readings. Cast members should be physically able to do some slapstick-style movements (kicking, slapping, throwing objects, maybe some prat falls). A copy of the script is on reserve at the Eureka public library. Auditions will take place Saturday, September 4 at 4pm and Sunday, September 5 at 7pm at NCRT, 300 Fifth Street in Eureka. Production dates are November 18 through December 11. Please call 268-0175 if you have any questions.
