Christ Church Concert Series presents a Messiah Community Sing-Along on Sunday, December 12, 2010 at 3 pm, Christ Episcopal Church (15th and H Streets), Eureka. Soloists Elizabeth Rau (Soprano), Betty Burton (Alto), David Powell (Tenor), and William Frazee (Bass) will perform the Recitatives and Arias from Part I of Handel’s Messiah. The audience is invited to join in singing the choruses, under the direction of Betty Burton and with organ accompaniment by Merry Phillips. The program will end with the well-known Hallelujah Chorus. Bring a score if you have one, and come join in singing this traditional holiday favorite. The Sing-Along is free to the public though donations will be gratefully accepted.
