LIFE IN A DAY - Shoot video on July 24th, Saturday
ONE WORLD. 24 HOURS. 6 BILLION PERSPECTIVES
Life in A Day is a historic global experiment to create a user-generated feature film, shot in a single day, by you. On July 24, you have 24 hours to capture a glimpse of your life on camera. The most compelling and distinctive footage will be edited into an experimental documentary film, produced by Ridley Scott and directed by Kevin Macdonald.
The film will premier at the Sundance Film Festival in January 2011 and will be available on YouTube. If your footage makes it into the finished film, you’ll be credited as a c-diretor and you could be one of 20 contributors brought to Sundance to celebrate with Kevin Macdonald.( This is taken from the official YouTube Life in A Day channel. mc)

We want to have as many Humboldt, Del Norte and Trinity video uploads as possible. We would also like to use some of the footage for a montage of “A Day in the Life of Humboldt.”
There are some great video suggestions by Scott, Macdonald and audio designer and editor on the YouTube site. They do NOT wan the footage to be edited. If your camera can shoot 24 frames per second, that would be ideal. Quality does not have to be excellent or professional. They are looking for compelling personal moments.
