Humboldt Made

What:

This Thursday, May 13, the Mateel Community Center in Redway will present the southern Humboldt premier of Humboldt Made along with a series of short films entitled, Love, Humboldt, plus the winning entries of the community film contest, I Love Humboldt.

The 10 documentaries feature local entrepreneurial success stories like Cypress Grove Chevre, Lost Coast Brewery, and Eel River Organic Beef, among others.  The project was underwritten by the Humboldt County Economic Development Division and is part of a larger, two-year branding mission to better market Humboldt County as a haven for high quality specialty food and agriculture products.  The Love, Humboldt event* * is free and open to the community. Doors open at 7:30pm with films at 8:30.  Space is limited and seating will be on a first come, first served basis.  Local food products will be offered out of the kitchen and local libations will be poured at the bar.  For more information, go to www.HumboldtMade.com or call the Mateel Community Center at (707) 923-3368.
