What:
This years HEAD TO HEAD THREE, will hold space at the BEAUTIFUL, One-Of-A-Kind Dean Creek Resort in Redway, CA. All of those who have supported this manifestation in the past two forms, Thank You for your roll in making a memorable moment in time for us to enjoy. This Year - LET US DO IT AGAIN! On Aug. 21st - 2010, The gates at the “Mighty Mateel” will be open at noon.
At 5:00pm: This experience will build it’s foundation on the Rock and Roll style of Mendo’s own “Skunk Train”. With vocals by Sister Soul - supported by “Rockstar” quality musicians. Skunk Train is sure to set the groove on this ship.
Bringing us head on to our focus…(Missing Jerry and knowing he’s gone. Does not mean we forget or somehow move on.) The Bay Area - loan us for this evening “Play Live Dead”. So get your Grateful Dead on - with the boys who steward the tune. With years of musical experience under their belts - our friends will help us once again, Dance Forward! The moment will funk itself down with New Mexico’s “Da Bruddah Project”. These guys will spin your soul and shake your bones. The Mateel may never be this same!
While we’re being moved by the ministry of music - your “Visual Appetite” will be satisfied by So. Hum’s own COSMIC GOO. Bringing the psychedelic expression into few!
Within this mix you’ll find food and beverages. And the vendor’s may have that something you’ve been looking for! Ticket’s our $30.00 advance and available at all local outlets. $40.00 at the gate, day of show.
