Lighting Basics for Videographers

Discovery Day and Store Sale

What:

The HSU Natural History Museum opens its doors for a interactive workshop in physical science for children ages 7 to 14 years. Chemistry and Physics Discovery Day is on Saturday, December 12.  The event runs from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. with exhibits on both chemistry and physics during the four hours. Though geared to ages 7 to 14 all ages are welcome.   Kids can engage in discovery-based, hands-on experiments probing the chemical and physical properties of matter and energy.  The stations are designed and staffed by students in HSU’s Elementary Education program.  Admission is free.  The Museum Store is open during the event with 30% off all store merchandise.  The Museum is located at 1315 G Street, in Arcata.  (707) 826-4478.
