What:
Storyteller/musician Jeff DeMark and veteran guitarist, Jeff Landen will team up for a performance at Café Brio in Arcata on Friday, October 29 at 7:30pm. Admission is $5 at the door. The show will inaugurate a series of Friday night music shows inside of Café Brio.
For the upcoming show, DeMark and Landen will collaborate on some of DeMark’s stories and poems and play guitar together. Jeff Landen, a mainstay of the popular Bayou Swamis band, plays guitar, slide and dobro, and will perform some of his own compositions and other songs, too. DeMark will perform part of his show, “They Ate Everything but their Boots” which he is bringing back to Dell”Arte on November 12-14.
Writer Wax Johnson will also read some of his surreal pieces of journalistic excess. “Expect the unexpected,” says DeMark
