Dell’Arte Character Projects

What:

Join the second-year students of Dell’Arte International’s MFA program for an evening of investigation into what is real.

Come watch five actors transform their individual character into a collage of intention and serendipity while they share the stage with one another in 5 originally devised and performed works.

They test their relationship with each other and with their own characters individuality. According to Dell’Arte International’s Director of Training, Ronlin Foreman, “It is an exploration into what is real…It calls into question our own individual reality.”

This production allows the student-actors to explore the two main questions of the program: What is a character? What is a play?  Each role must be distinct from the actor including physical shape and mannerism, voice and movement, with a specific atmosphere and desire.

The second-year students of Dell’Arte International’s MFA program present their Character Projects Thursday - Sunday, Dec. 9-12 at 8pm in the Carlo Theatre in Blue Lake. All tickets are pay what you can. And can be reserved by calling 668-5663 ext. 20.
