The next walk is 9:30am Saturday June 25th, meet in front of the Adorni Center for a Waterfront Walk. We’ll review and discuss some of the old, new, and future waterfront developments.
Held every fourth Saturday at 9:30am, All Discovery Walks are FREE and OPEN to the public. Walks are typically one and a half to two hours.
Children should be accompanied by an adult, and strollers are recommended for small children. Wheelchair-enabled welcome; call or email if you have any concerns about the route. Walkers should wear comfortable walking shoes and be prepared for light rain. Heavy rain cancels. City ordinance requires dogs must be on leash.
Everything looks different when you walk instead of drive! You notice and appreciate things that you never did before while zooming by. Slow down, enjoy the company of others, stop and talk and think about things a little bit. Share what you know and learn what others know. Get to know your city -
