Coping with wild comb
The Humboldt County Beekeepers’ Association will meet from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. on Thursday, July 1, at the Adorni Center. Julia Graham-Whitt will demonstrate how to secure wild comb into frames. This knowledge is essential when a beekeeper finds a wild hive. Ms. Graham-Whitt operates a small farm and owns a landscaping business. She has been a beekeeper for more than ten years.HCBA meets on the first Thursday of each month, February through October, at the Adorni Center, 1011 Waterfront Dr, Eureka.
