North Coast Parents is sponsoring a free “Cooking with Kids” event at the Eureka CoOp on Tuesday, December 22 from 10:00 am to noon. The Co-Op is located at 25 4th Street (corner of 4th & B Streets.)
Love cooking with your kids but hate the mess? Parents and their babies, toddlers and preschool-aged children are invited to come get messy at the CoOp’s Community Kitchen while making tasty treats. Bring your appetites…this is a fun one. Please RSVP to Stella at scswen@yahoo.com or 668-9787.
Sponsoring the outing is North Coast Parents (NCP), a local grassroots organization that was created 20 years ago to serve as a support group for parents of babies, toddlers and preschool-aged children. NCP offers activities, small play groups, field trips, and meetings in safe, nurturing environments that provide socialization for young children and their parents. Also offered is a babysitting co-op, parents’ night out events and meals to new parents. A monthly newsletter listing NCP activities and family-oriented community events is sent to members.
