Co-OpéRa: The Magic Fruit
What:
The Arcata Co-op presents the debut performance of the Co-OpéRa, June 25-27. Spontaneous outbursts of song and dance take place throughout the weekend as Co-op performers present “The Magic Fruit” based on Mozart’s opera, “The Magic Flute”. The debut incarnation of Co-OpéRa is a semi-guerilla, experimental, community building, sound theatre presented in a series of 12 daily vignettes. The vignette performances may erupt anywhere in the store and happen every 45 minutes, starting each day at 11am. A Co-OpéRa playbill will be available at all performances, as well as tasty snacks! Don’t miss this memorable event!
