Co-op Earth Day Celebration

What:

Thursday, April 22, the Arcata Co-op hosts our Earth Day Celebration from Noon-6pm.  We will Featuring Earth-friendly product samples and giveaways, complimentary garden seeds from Warren Creek Farm and Feral Family Farm and a demonstration from Debbie Perticara of the AmeriCorps VISTA Community Gardens Project at Noon.  Other attractions include an electric car display and live music from Christo Ball at 3pm.  A sure highlight for Kids of all ages is the appearance of Nature Joe, featuring native California wildlife, from 3:30-5:30pm!>>Michelle Dulas will lead a workshop on “Eating Local by growing your own” from 10am-1pm at the Eureka Co-op on Earth Day as well.  The Eureka Co-op will host their Everyday is Earth Day event on Saturday April 24 from Noon-4pm, featuring delicious samples and Earth-friendly giveaways.
