The Arcata Playhouse is LETTING IT’S HAIR DOWN with an evening of music and comedy to DYE FOR. Welcome to Clüb Shampoo: A Hair Raising Revue. This cabaret style event featuring Humboldt‘s finest entertainment as well as some special guest from out of town all coming together on Saturday, November 12 at 8:00 p.m. at the Playhouse at 1251 9th Street in the Old Creamery Building.
Hosted by Jacqueline Dandeneau and David Ferney, this high-energy revue features Cirque du Soleil clown and physical comedienne, Mooky Cornish (on hiatus from her European touring schedule), local storyteller Jeff DeMark, singer-songwriter Chris Parreira, Curtis and Julie Thompson of Kulica, and Professor Willikers (the indestructible puppet) and more zany characters and musicians with live hair styling by Felicite Hair. So grab your favorite hair ornament, slick on the gel and come on down to the Playhouse for a HAIR RAISING music and comedy revue in a parade of stylish performances conditioned to soften your split ends.
