Celebrity Knitter Franklin Habit

NorthCoast Knittery will be hosting Franklin Habit, Author of “It Itches” A Stash of Knitting Cartoons onSeptember 25 and September 26. Franklin started blogging about his sheep friend Delores in 2006 andpublished his first book “It Itches” through Interweave Press in 2008. Franklin will be teaching threeworkshops at NorthCoast Knittery and signing books on Saturday, September 25 from 7PM to 9PM.Franklin’s ever so popular blog can be found at http://the-panopticon.blogspot.com/This is the first of many workshops where NorthCoast Knittery is bringing fiber artists into HumboldtCounty from outside the area. We have attracted attendees from Southern California, neighboringNorthern California cities and even Nevada. Each workshop holds twenty people and we are now takingnames for a waiting list. NorthCoast Knittery teamed up with the Carter House Inn and the Red Lion tooffer out of town guest’s a complete package. We look forward to bringing more celebrity fiber artist tothe redwoods.NorthCoast Knittery was opened in the fall of 2008 to provide “A Unique Gathering Place” for fiberlovers.
